Meet the Team!

Temitope Raheem (Temi) is the founder and lead director of Usmound CIC. 16 years ago, Temi began volunteering at her local food bank as a way of giving back to the community that once stood by her—today, she continues to serve with the same passion and commitment, supporting others through challenging times.

The support and generosity that Temi received inspired her to give back to others in need.

Temi founded Usmound after 7 years volunteering at the Redeemed Christian Church of God at the Winners Assembly in Brixton, to continue her work tackling poverty, promoting health and wellbeing, tackling inequality among children and families, improving housing and food insecurity, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Olurunfemi (Femi) joined Usmound last year as a volunteer, helping to run our foodbank and other services.

Femi joined Usmound to support the foodbank, which he describes as having been a source of comfort and refuge for him in the past.

Femi enjoys volunteering for Usmound on Saturdays, and says that it as a great joy!
